| HORSE SUPERVISION | |
| There must be one person responsible for the well being of each horse able to make decisions with regard to treatment, if so required by the vets; staying within a travel time of 10 minutes from the horse's stable. | |
| STABLING | |
It is compulsory for all horses to be stabled WHERE ALLOCATED BY THE
RIDE ORGANISERS within the Exford area for the period of the ride, i.e
Sunday, Monday and Tuesday nights for classes 1 and 2 and Monday/Tuesday
for Class 3. NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS RULE WILL BE MADE. At the time of entry
Competitors should indicate where their own accommodation is likely to
be so that stabling can be arranged as conveniently as possible. The organisers
are aware that more and more riders wish to sleep in their boxes. Whilst
every effort will be made to try and place horses where it is known that
this facility is available no guarantee can be given. Riders must make
their own arrangements with stable owners. Please do not assume you can
stay in you lorry/trailer where your horse is stabled - it is not always
convenient. Please check before arrival, and expect to pay for this facility.
BEDDING is an extra charge. Be sure you indicate your requirements, i.e straw/shavings, on stabling form. Bedding must be paid for direct to the stable owners before leaving. Please be aware that bedding is expensive in the West Country - you may prefer to bring your own. |

| VACCINATION AGAINST EQUINE INFLUENZA | |
| A current vaccination certificate (see British Endurance Riding Association Rule Book for definition) will be required for all horses for the 2000 Golden Horseshoe. Please send a photocopy of your horse's certificate with your entry. | |
| EMERGENCY FIRST AID KITS | |
| It is mandatory for riders to carry an emergency first aid kit, comprising: Triangular Bandage, whistle, glucose tablets, space blankets, wound dressing and bandage and vetwrap type bandage. | |
| ACCEPTANCE OF RULES | |
| Making an entry for the Golden Horseshoe Ride constitutes implicit acceptance of Endurance GB Rules. The Board of Endurance GB shall be the sole interpreter of the rules. | |
| DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY | |
| Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the Organisers or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the Organisers nor British Endurance Riding Association, nor the Exmoor National Park Authority, nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, crew persons, spectators, land or any person or property whatsoever whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract, or in anyway whatsoever. | |
| ENTRIES AND WITHDRAWALS | |

Entries must be made on the entry form and sent to:- Entries must be sent to arrive no later than the CLOSING DATE OF WEDNESDAY
24th APRIL 2002. Under no circumstances will late entries be accepted.
Should you not qualify until after the closing date, your entry must
be sent in, in the normal way, and conformation of qualification telephoned
to the Entries Secretary immediately. In the event of non-qualification
entry fees will be refunded. Competitors wishing to withdraw may do so
without penalty by telephoning the Entries Secretary and confirming in
writing up to the closing date. With the above exception NO REFUNDS
