Riders set out on a prearranged route, passing through checkpoints. Their times are radioed back to base so that their progress through each section is monitored. If a rider fails to appear within a reasonable length of time, a motorbike is dispatched to locate them.

The map on the left outlines the course and is best viewed at 800x600 or higher. Clicking on the map toggles a 4X magnification on the area.

You can opt for a dynamic zoom which updates as you move around the map , but this is recommended for people with high speed connections only. People with lower speed connections may experience some map stutter whilst the map downloads, when using this setting.
